What Is Ego Authority?
Ego Authority (also called Heart Authority or Will Authority) is uncommon. Those with it have a defined Heart/Will center, giving them access to their desires, willpower, and values as the correct decision-making guidance. The Ego center is not the ego in the psychological sense โ it is the center of the personal self, material values, and true desire. Ego Authority means: if you genuinely want it and are willing to commit your will to it, it is correct. If you feel hesitant, uncommitted, or like you 'should' want it rather than truly wanting it, it is not.
How it feels: A direct sense of what you want and whether you have the will to pursue it
๐ How to Use Ego Authority โ Step by Step
- Ask yourself honestly: 'Do I actually want this? Not should I want it, not will it look good โ do I genuinely want it?'
- Check your willingness: 'Am I willing to put my energy and resources behind this?'
- Speak your decision out loud โ Ego Authority often needs to hear itself say it to know if it's true.
- Listen for words like 'I want,' 'I will,' 'I am going to' โ these signal Ego alignment.
- Notice when you are talking yourself into something. That is not Ego Authority; that is conditioning.
- Your desires are correct data. Do not shame them or explain them away.
โ ๏ธ Common Mistakes
- Doing things out of obligation, guilt, or 'should' โ this depletes the Heart center
- Discounting your desires as selfish or superficial
- Over-promising โ committing your will to things you do not actually want, then burning out
- Not speaking your decisions aloud (Ego Authority often needs to hear itself)
- Letting others' expectations override what you genuinely want
โจ Affirmation
โMy desires are sacred data. What I truly want, I am meant to have.โ
